Varsity Spirit has signed an exclusive, multi-year broadcast agreement with Scripps Sports to bring the Pro Cheer League (PCL) to national U.S. television.
As part of the deal, all five live matches from the PCL’s inaugural 2026 season will air on ION, a national broadcast network available across major cable and streaming platforms.
The agreement was coordinated through Paramount Sports Entertainment and follows an earlier announcement that Paramount acquired the league’s streaming rights. Together, the deals expand the Pro Cheer League’s reach across both traditional television and digital platforms.
The national broadcast marks a major step for professional cheerleading, placing the sport in front of a broad U.S. audience and increasing visibility beyond existing cheer communities.
The first-ever Pro Cheer League season will run from January 16 through March 27, 2026, featuring four regular-season matches and a final. All matches will air live on ION at 8:00 p.m. ET.
We’ll continue to follow the developments and keep you updated on international broadcasts and streaming!
